Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Are you having trouble getting your desired ball flight? If so, then try this!

If you tend to slice/fade the golf ball, try pointing the club to the right of your target at the top of your backswing. Then on the downswing, swing the club out to the right of your target while trying to close the clubface in relation to your swing path. Please see photos:

If you tend to draw/hook the golf ball, try pointing the club to the left of your target at the top of your backswing. Then on the downswing, swing the club to the left of your target while trying to keep the clubface open in relation to your swing path. Please see photos:

Practicing with these tips will help you get a better feeling of your club position at the top of your backswing as well as how the club is coming into the golf ball. To work of a straight ball flight, your club should be parallel to your target line at the top of your backswing and down the target line on your downswing with a square clubface.

Great Golfing!
